The George W. Bush rehabilitation tour continues. In an ABC Newsinterview that aired Wednesday night, the former president told Diane Sawyer that his brother Jeb would be a “marvelous candidate”—an opinion apparently not shared by his mother, Barbara, who said Thursday that “we've had enough Bushes” in office. He also revealed that he wants his newborn granddaughter (born to daughter Jenna Bush Hager on April 13) to call him “El Jefe,” as in boss. “I will tell you, holding that little child was one of the great pleasures of my life,” he said of Margaret Laura Hager (nicknamed Mila). Bush also joked about his paintings, saying they reflect his “precocious nature.” He also pointed out that “it’s not easy” to paint water hitting water—as he did in the illustration of his feet in the bathtub.
