As the Obama administration scrambles to deal with a barrage of cover-up accusations that surfaced this week, Republicans are now trying to link the IRS scandal to President Obama’s health care reform. Speaking on the irony surrounding the fact that the IRS official who headed the operation is now in charge of Obamacare, Rep. Andy Harris quipped: "You can't make this stuff up." The IRS has a big role in carrying out the Affordable Care Act, since money for the uninsured will be funneled through the tax system, which is responsible for cracking down on those who don’t comply with the law’s requirements. But the biggest lead the GOP will jump on is that a former head of the office that scrutinized conservative groups is now running the division that will implement Obamacare.
