Comedy fans, it’s the moment you’ve been waiting for: the legendary Dave Chappelle is returning to the world of stand-up. Eight years after he abruptly left his popular sketch gig on Comedy Central, Chappelle is returning to the spotlight in the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival tour this summer with Flight of the Conchords, among other big names. Rumors of Chappelle’s comeback have been making the rounds ever since he performed with Chris Rock and others at The Comedy Cellar in New York this past winter. The monthlong tour kicks off in Austin, Texas, on August 23 and will feature “two stages, street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats, and more,” and tickets go on sale June 21.
