The review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes is expanding its empire. Starting Tuesday, the site will begin ranking TV shows. The site, which is embarking on its first major expansion since 1998, will launch “TV Zone,” which will include a Tomatometer that aggregates the reviews of a show’s entire season. Reality shows won’t be included, but for long-standing hits like Breaking Bad and Mad Men, the Tomatometer will go back to the beginning to come up with its rating. Good shows will be rated as “fresh” and receive a red tomato. “Rotten” ratings will be denoted by a splattered green tomato.
