Jerry Brown on Tuesday signed a bill that banned so-called “revenge porn,” making it a crime punishable by a $1,000 fine or six months in jail to post naked photos of your ex. It will now be a misdemeanor to post identifiable nude photos of a person online without their permission. California became the second state, after New Jersey, to ban revenge porn.
