So much for that “tangible chemistry." Just a month after Charlie Hunnam signed on to play Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson (as Anastasia Steele) in 50 Shades of Grey, the film's producers announced Saturday that he's dropping out. In a joint statement by Universal Pictures and Focus Features, the studios point to Hunnam's “immersive TV schedule” on Sons of Anarchy as the issue that prevented him from taking on the role. The process of finding a new lead in the much-anticipated adaptation of E.L. James’ erotic novel will undoubtedly be tricky. Luckily, Saturday Night Live's done some of the dirty work.
