Report: Prince George’s Godparents Will Be Commoners

Does Kate Middleton even remember that she married into royalty? They might have bad hairlines, but the Windsors are still royalty after all. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are naming three school friends—aka commoners—to be Prince George’s godparents, according to Britain’s Sunday Times. This comes on the heels of the news that Charles’s brothers and sister are all apparently not attending. Prince George is set to be christened on October 23 at the Chapel Royal at St. James Palace, instead of Buckingham Palace, where William and his father were both christened. If this is just going to be a christening filled with normal people, Pippa is bound to be the most exciting person there.
