The news was first reported by the website TMZ and later confirmed by Walker's representatives on his official Facebook page. According to the account posted on Facebook, Walker was a passenger in a friend's car and was attending a charity event. The friend, who has not been identified, has also reportedly died. Walker was best known for his role in the six Fast & Furious films beginning in 2001, but also found success in the 90s with roles in Pleasantville, Varsity Blues, and She's All That.
