N. Korea Pulls Citizens from China

Talk about ominous. According to a South Korean report, North Korean business people are being summoned back to their country after the execution of leader Kim Jong-un’s powerful uncle, Jang Song-thaek, who controlled economic ties with China. According to the report, Kim Jong-un is in the throes of an attempt to consolidate power through a reign of terror. Business people in Shenyang and Dandong who worked to enhance bilateral trade and investment are being brought home in what appears to be a crackdown on those who were loyal to Jang.
