Comedic actress Lily Tomlin of Laugh-In and 9 to 5 fame wed her longtime partner Jane Wagner in a private ceremony on New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles. The actress, 74, and her partner, 78, had been together for over four decades, and confirmed the news to outlets on Tuesday. Wagner was the writer of Tomlin’s award-winning one-woman show The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe.
