Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Putin. A country that banned gay "propaganda," now has the honor of hosting an Olympian victory for the LGBT community. Ireen Wüst of the Netherlands, one of the six out LGBT athletes participating at Sochi, just won the 3,000-meter speed skating event. She beat defending champion Martina Sablikova of the Czech Republic and, fittingly, Russia's Olga Graf to earn her gold medal. She completed the event in just 4 minutes and .34 seconds.
