Two Men Shot at National Zoo

Two men were shot and injured outside the National Zoo in Washington D.C. on Monday afternoon. Zoo-goers reported hearing gunfire, and the attraction was shut down to visitors not long after. Police say one victim was shot in the hand and the other was hit in the arm. The zoo traditionally hosts family-friendly entertainment on the Monday after Easter. On Easter Monday in 2000, seven were shot outside the zoo's gates, and in 2011, there was a stabbing.
