The Ebola virus has claimed the lives of seven people, including a baby, in Monrovia, Liberia. This marks the first time the capital city has been struck by Ebola since the deadly virus started spreading throughout western African states this year. No country has been hit as hard as Guinea, which has suffered 208 Ebola-related deaths since March. One of the Monrovia victims came from Sierra Leone and “infested some people in the household,” said Liberian Deputy Health Minister Tolbert Nyenswah. A nurse was another one of the casualties. There is no cure or vaccine for Ebola.
