A political staffer for Ted Cruz called The Daily Beast to say that the senator would be giving an important speech Monday morning at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. "You're going to want to be there," he said. The aide would not answer questions as to what the speech would be about, except to say that it would be worth our while to attend. Cruz has said in the past that, were he to run for president, he would make a decision in this general time period of 2015. — Tim Mak
