Alleged Druglord Wins in Nigerian Senate

A Nigerian businessman wanted by the United States for allegedly running a drug smuggling operation—thought to be the same one that Piper Kerman, author of Orange is the New Black, became involved with—just won a seat in the Nigerian senate. Prince Buruji Kashamu has denied the charges and claimed that his late brother was the mastermind. Though he's been a wanted man for 17 years, Nigeria has not extradited him, probably due to his support of President Goodluck Jonathan's ruling party.
