Comcast reportedly plans to drop its deal to buy Time Warner Cable for $45 billion after reports that attorneys inside the Justice Department would ask the government to sue and block a merger out of antitrust concerns. The Federal Communications Commission suggested a hearing on the merger, a further hurdle for the company to clear.
