The upcoming season of American Idol will be the show’s last, Fox announced Monday. The popular competition show will end a 15-season run during which it became one of the most-watched shows on TV, but ratings have been steadily declining for years. Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and Harry Connick, Jr. will return for the final season, as will host Ryan Seacrest.
