ISIS renewed its all-out assault on Iraqi forces in Ramadi late Thursday, in an attempt to gain ground after losing the central Iraqi city of Tikrit. Militants are reported to have seized the main government building early Friday in the capital of Iraq’s Anbar province. The militants used multiple cars with suicide bombers in an assault on a compound housing the main police station and governor’s office. Reportedly, more than 50 Iraqi security forces have been taken captive.
