The Federal Aviation Administration announced Wednesday that it will rename three navigation coordination points above Palm Beach International Airport that are named after Donald Trump. “In general, the FAA chooses names that are noncontroversial,” spokeswoman Laura Brown told The New York Times. An air-traffic controller named the navigation points DONLD, TRUMMP and UFIRD in 2010. Trump told a reporter from The Palm Beach Post at the time that he was flattered, but on Thursday, Trump issued a statement saying, “‘Making America Great Again’ is far more important to me than an honor I never knew I had… meaning a blip on the radar.”
