The leading super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton’s presidential run received an anonymous $1 million contribution in June, just two weeks after she told a rally that she wanted to end “the endless flow of secret, unaccountable money.” The donation to Priorities USA Action came from another super PAC but cannot be tracked beyond that. “In the face of a billion-dollar onslaught by right wing groups, there is too much at stake for everyday Americans for Democratic groups to unilaterally disarm,” the group’s spokesman said.
