A massive explosion struck a chemical industrial zone of Dongying city in the Shandong province of China this morning, local time. The explosion was reported by state-run newspaper, People's Daily. The cause is yet unknown, but it comes weeks after a massive explosion destroyed parts of the port city of Tianjin. It is unclear whether anyone was killed or injured in the blast.
Correction 2:40 p.m.: The video previously included in this post was from a different explosion in Tianjin earlier this month.
