500 Arrested at L.A. Rave Music Fests

PARTY HARD

Largely for drug possession and fake IDs.

Just short of 500 people were arrested this weekend at two electronic-music festivals in Southern California, the Los Angeles Times reports. At the HARD Day of the Dead festival in Pomona, 148 people were arrested Saturday and 162 more were detained on Sunday. San Bernardino authorities arrested an additional 180 at Escape: Psycho Circus, a two-day festival that ran over the weekend. Most of the arrests at both events related to charges of public intoxication, possession of illegal drugs, being under the influence of a controlled substance, or possessing fake identification.
