Singer-songwriter Adele is on pace to not just break sales records, but shatter them. Her much-anticipated third album, 25, was already projected to sell a record-breaking 2.5 million copies in its first week; but she's already neared that figure just three days into sales. According to Billboard, Adele has sold 2.3 million records since Friday and is now projected to hit 2.9 million by week's end, shattering the previous single-week sales record held by *NSYNC for having sold 2.41 million copies of No Strings Attached back in 2000.
