The small town of North, South Carolina, is without a police force after all its members resigned on Wednesday. The mass resignation occurred after longtime Chief Mark Fallaw quit over issues with policies instituted by the newly-elected mayor Patty Carson. Upon submitting his letter of resignation, Fallaw's employees followed suit. In the absence of a town police force, the county has taken over.
