So that was fast. Just a few hours after the president announced a series of executive actions that change some background check requirements on gun sales and provide funding to enforce existing laws, Ted Cruz put up a link on his website comparing the president to a SWAT team raider, or something.
The image is a photoshop of Obama wearing military-style garb and scowling ominously.
“OBAMA WANTS YOUR GUNS,” reads the page. “SUPPORT THE PROTECTION OF YOUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS!”
The page also has a form where those concerned about an armed Obama seizing their guns can give Cruz their name and email address.
