Jared Fogle, the former Subway fast-food chain spokesman, was reportedly beaten in by a fellow inmate in prison. Fogle is serving a 15-year sentence in a Colorado facility after being convicted on child-pornography-related charges. The beating allegedly happened on Jan. 29 at the hands of inmate Steven Nigg. TMZ reported Nigg punched Fogle in the face, giving him a bloody nose. (Nigg was moved to solitary confinement after the alleged incident.) Nigg’s family told TMZ that he was angry about child predators being held in the “low” security facility and that Fogle’s presence was the last straw.
