Donald Trump defeated Ted Cruz and, perhaps the #NeverTrump movement along with it, in Indiana on Tuesday.
After a contentious day in which Trump falsely claimed that Cruz’s father was pictured with JFK assassinator Lee Harvey Oswald, based on a story from the National Enquirer, he managed to beat him by double digits according to multiple outlets.
Cruz, who fought hard in the state, picking up the lukewarm endorsement of Indiana governor Mike Pence, didn’t do enough to convince voters to turn away from the Republican frontrunner.
