Atlanta Braves outfielder Hector Olivera was suspended Thursday through Aug. 1 for his arrest on domestic-violence charges last month. The 82-game suspension—which Olivera will not appeal—is without pay and will be retroactive to April 30. His ban comes as a blow to an already-struggling Braves team that is in last place.
