A new poll shows negative opinions of Donald Trump have hit the highest level yet for the 2016 presidential campaign, with a full seven out of 10 Americans surveyed viewing him unfavorably. Fifty-six percent of those polled said they feel “strongly” about that opinion. It surpasses the numbers of Hillary Clinton, who is seeing the worst favorability ratings than she has had in 20-plus years of public life. About 43 percent reported favorable impressions about the Democratic presidential candidate, and 56 percent were unfavorable.
