Taliban ‘Using Boy Sex Slaves to Kill Afghan Police’

The Taliban is using young boys engaged in the sex trade to launch Trojan Horse-style attacks on Afghan police, officials told Agence France-Presse. The practice of “bacha bazi,” in which young boys are literally used as sex toys by older men, is prevalent in certain areas of the country, and the Taliban has reportedly learned to exploit that by using the boys as honey traps. The boys have been used to infiltrate Afghan military checkpoints and kill policemen, an Afghan police chief has revealed. Hundreds of police have been killed in the last two years as a result of this practice. Authorities in Afghanistan have reportedly been unwilling or unable to crack down on the tradition of bacha bazi, which is illegal under Afghan law, as many powerful figures take part with their own personal sex slaves.
