American UC Berkeley Student Missing in Nice, France

A University of California at Berkeley student studying abroad in France is missing in Nice after the Thursday evening rampage that left at least 84 dead and 200-plus others injured. Nick Leslie’s uncle, Fabeo Bottini, has reportedly gone from local hospital to hospital searching for information about the missing nephew. A friend of Leslie’s claims the truck that killed scores of people did not hit the student, and that he was seen bolting off through the streets of Old Nice. However, Bottini’s wife said Nick never returned to his student housing last night.Three other UC Berkeley students were injured during the attack, the college confirmed on Friday. Two are being treated for broken legs, the third for a broken foot.
