Man Who Taped Eric Garner Death Sues NYC

The man who filmed Eric Garner's arrest and death at the hands of New York City Police officers is suing the city for $10 million. After Ramsey Orta released footage of Garner's death by police chokehold in 2014, he was arrested on drug charges, which were later dropped. Orta is suing the city $10 million for the arrest, which he says was relaliation for filming Garner's death. He and his family claim they have been hounded by police since he released the footage.
