2016 Presidential Debates: Moderators and Full Schedule

The Commission on Presidential Debates announced Friday the moderators for the 2016 general-election presidential and vice-presidential debates. The first presidential debate, which will be held Monday, Sept. 26, at Hofstra University on Long Island, will be hosted by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt. Eight days later, the first VP debate will take place at Longwood University in central Virginia, hosted by CBS News correspondent Elaine Quijano. The following weekend, on Sunday, Oct. 9, ABC News star Martha Raddatz and CNN’s Anderson Cooper will host a town-hall style presidential debate at Washington University in St. Louis. And then ten days later, on Oct. 19, Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace will host a primetime presidential debate at the University of Nevada.
