Carrie Fisher: Harrison Ford Seduced Me During ‘Star Wars’

Carrie Fisher unveiled details of a secret relationship with her Star Wars co-star Harrison Ford in her forthcoming book, The Princess Diarist. Fisher, now 60, said the two began sleeping together one night in 1976 when Ford, then 32, offered to drive her, then 19, home while filming the beloved film franchise’s first installation. The affair lasted three months, she said, and she “relentlessly” wanted him to love her, often fantasizing, she recalled, that he would ask her to marry him with a “gold band with diamonds (inscribed) ‘Carrison.”’ At the end of filming Star Wars, Ford returned to his wife Mary and two children (he and Mary divorced in 1979). Fisher has been rather open about off-screen life during the Star Wars filming, telling The Daily Beast last year that she and Ford partied with the Rolling Stones and members of the Monty Python troupe.
