Jill Stein has raised enough money for a recount in Wisconsin, the Green Party presidential nominee’s campaign said Thursday. In less than a day, Stein raised at least $2.7 million, her fundraising page said. “Congratulations on meeting the recount costs for Wisconsin. Raising money to pay for the first round so quickly is a miraculous feat and a tribute to the power of grassroots organizing,” a statement released by her campaign said. On Wednesday, Stein questioned whether the election results were reliable after the “divisive and painful” election campaign was plagued by reports of hacked voter databases. “These concerns need to be investigated before the 2016 presidential election is certified,” Stein said in a statement. Stein is also seeking to raise funds for a recount in Michigan and Pennsylvania, both of which have deadlines set for next week. Filing fees for a recount in Michigan amount to $600,000, and a recount in Michigan will cost $500,000.
