Senate Intelligence Chairman Richard Burr said on Friday that his committee would be investigating potential ties and contacts between Donald Trump's campaign and Russia. Previously, the committee had said that the issue would be outside of the panel's probe into Russia's alleged hacking involvement in the presidential election. Burr, and the commmittee's top Democrat Senator Mark Warner, said that they would be using “subpoenas if necessary” to get testimony from Obama administration officials and members of Trump's team.
