The British cops sent to Moscow to investigate the poisoning death of former KGB-agent-turned-dissident Alexander Litvinenko believe they themselves were victims of a Russian-backed poison attack. One of the investigators recalled in a new Channel 4 documentary that after drinking tea at the prosecutor general's office, he became ill. “We were probably poisoned with something like gastroenteritis," he said. "I think there was a deliberate ploy to weaken us physically because we were the decision makers in the team.”
