Former House Speaker John Boehner this week said that Donald Trump’s presidency has been “a complete disaster” and that the president is struggling to adapt to the job. “Everything else he’s done [in office] has been a complete disaster,” he said during a Q&A session. “He’s still learning how to be president.”The comments, made Wednesday at an energy conference, come in stark contrast to Boehner’s remark in February that he has faith Trump will become “the immigrant’s best friend,” and his pre-election labeling of Trump as his “texting buddy.”
