Rev. Robert Jeffress, a Baptist pastor with a controversial past, is slated to preach to President-elect Trump and his family on Inauguration Day at a private service at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. Jeffress, who heads the First Baptist Church in Dallas, was a major booster of Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, and sat on Trump’s evangelical advisory board.
