Debra Messing ‘Dismayed’ Over Megyn Kelly Interview, Regrets Doing It

Will & Grace star Debra Messing regrets appearing for an interview on the debut of NBC’s Megyn Kelly Today. Responding Tuesday to an Instagram comment taking issue with her and the cast’s appearance on the former Fox News host’s new show—calling it a “fail”—Messing wrote: “Honestly I didn’t know it was MK until that morning. The itinerary just said Today Show appearance. Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments.” The remarks Messing referred to were Kelly’s notably awkward exchange with a Will & Grace super-fan, in which she jokingly asked him: “Is it true that you became a lawyer—and you became gay—because of Will?”
