The Department of Homeland Security has dropped its deportation proceedings against the wife of a U.S. Army veteran. Sgt. 1st Class Bob Crawford’s wife, Elia, faced possible deportation after an expected Monday court hearing in Virginia. Crawford served as an Army Ranger with the 7th Special Forces Group. “While we are encouraged by this latest development there will still be a long road ahead,” said the family’s lawyer, Leticia Corona.
