There’s both good and bad news for Entourage fans in HBO’s announcement on Saturday: The show is now set to end after its next season, but the door has been opened for a follow-up film after the final episode. “We’re going to do six episodes next year and end with a bang,” said HBO’s Programming President Michael Lombardo, adding that creator Doug Ellin wants to do a movie “if it makes sense for the story.” Lombardo, speaking at the Television Critics Association fall TV preview, even has an idea for the movie’s trailer. He imagines Ari Gold, Jeremy Piven’s Emmy-winning character, and Rex Lee’s Lloyd “waking up together in Vegas not knowing what happened.”
