The FBI is investigating the stabbing of a police officer at Bishop Airport in Flint, Michigan as terrorism. David Gelios, the special agent in charge, said the assailant, later identified as 49-year-old Canadian Amor R. Ftouhi, stabbed the Lt. Jeff Neville in the neck and yelled “Allahu Akbar” as he mentioned the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Gelios said that while the investigation is in its early stages, there is no indication that the attack was part of a larger plot. Gelios added that Ftouhi has been interviewed by the FBI and is cooperating. Neville is in stable condition.
