Feds: Woman Tried to Hire Craigslist Assassin to Kill Ex-Husband

Federal prosecutors are alleging that an Oklahoma woman tried to hire an assassin on Craiglist to travel to Israel to kill her ex-husband. Danielle Dana Layman, 37, allegedly wrote in a posting on the site that the job entailed a “10-day gig overseas” for someone with experience in acting. According to the affidavit, an individual who responded to the ad and met with Layman in a coffee shop contacted the FBI to inform them that Layman was allegedly trying to have her ex-husband killed with ricin. Layman’s attorney did not respond to the Associated Press’ request for comment.
