Country music legend Glen Campbell, best known for his 1975 hit “Rhinestone Cowboy,” died Tuesday after his lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. According to TMZ, “Campbell died Tuesday around 10 AM in a Nashville facility for Alzheimer's patients... according to a source close to his family... He’s survived by his wife, Kim Campbell, and 8 children.” Campbell released a farewell studio album earlier this year, appropriately titled Adiós, as his health continued to decline. Other country hits recorded by Campbell include “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” and “By the Time I Get to Phoenix.”
