The national committeewoman for the Republican Party of Nevada on Monday appeared to call for Sen. John McCain’s death. Diana Orrock, a former candidate for state assemblywoman who now serves as the state’s GOP committeewoman praisingly retweeted a Medium article about McCain’s hawkish military views, titled, “Please Just Fucking Die Already.” As a caption to the tweet, Orrock added: “Amen.” Orrock is an unwavering supporter of President Trump, having once told CNBC she would withdraw support for any Republican who took backed off supporting the then-nominee over his infamous “grab her by the pussy” audio tapes; and McCain is often viewed as a top GOP critic of the president. Orrock later deleted the tweet and issued an apology.
