During a press briefing on Wednesday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said SportsCenter co-host Jemele Hill’s comments on President Trump were “outrageous” and a “fireable offense by ESPN.” Huckabee Sanders was asked by Washington Post reporter David Nakamura to comment on Hill’s tweets, where she called President Trump a “white supremacist” who was “unqualified and unfit to be President.” ESPN released a statement on Tuesday that condemned Hill’s comments, and many notable figures responded to the statement. President Trump has yet to respond, or tweet, about the controversy.
