The MSNBC anchor informed the GOP congressman about how bad things were for people like him in the pre-civil rights-era South.
Ben Bergquam, a host on the fringe, MAGA-friendly network Real America’s Voice, recorded himself approaching Reid to ask her a question. It didn’t go well for him.
“We know what they want to say, but they don’t have the courage to say the n-word,” Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott told MSNBC’s Joy Reid.
She claimed the court’s elderly conservative justices are seeking to retire under a second Trump administration.
“As your laughter suggests, this is probably not going to happen,” NBC reporter Ali Vitali said in response.
