While Kim Kardashian was presumably out brunching with her gal pals or shopping up a storm with husband Kanye West, her little brother Rob chose to spend his Sunday going decidedly off-script and throwing serious shade at big sis, posting an image to his Instagram from the tail end of the movie Gone Girl featuring Rosamund Pike in a blood-spattered négligée (the blood, of course, belonging to poor Neil Patrick Harris) with the caption: “This is my sister kim, the bitch from Gone Girl…”
Of course, comparing Kim to Pike’s Amazing Amy is far from flattering, since Pike’s Gone Girl character fakes her own death, pins it on her two-timing husband (Ben Affleck), brutally murders her ex-boyfriend Desi (Harris) by slitting his throat, and then claims she was the one victimized throughout the whole sordid ordeal, trapping her hubby in a PR-infused marriage.
It’s not clear what Kim’s done to her 28-year-old little brother to deserve the vitriol, but Rob has not been seen in public in several months and has chosen to publicly distance himself from the family’s lucrative reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians—which recently inked a reported four-year extension with E! for $100 million.

“I just feel, especially over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety,” big sis Khloe Kardashian told Wonderwall recently. “He’s definitely not at his happiest place that he once was, and I know he can get to that happy place and he will.”
Last May, TMZ reported that Rob was “in tears” after bowing out of Kim’s lavish wedding in Florence following what it claims was “major family drama.” He then proceeded to delete all his tweets.
“Rob did come to Paris but skipped [the rehearsal dinner at] Versailles and the wedding,” a source told People at the time. “He just didn’t want to see a bunch of people both nights and really just is not feeling like himself.”
“He is really overweight and having a hard time with it,” the source continued. “There was no big fight between him and Kim. This was just a decision he made.”
However, another source told the website X17 that there was a disagreement between Rob and Kim over his appearance.
“Rob said he was sickened by Kim and Kanye’s display of wealth and clothes and beauty and called it ‘superficial bulls--t,’” reported the New York Daily News. “Kim was pissed that Rob hadn’t made an effort to drop any weight over the past few months… Rob basically thinks Kim cares about him only for his appearance and he said he’d ‘make life easier’ for her and just leave.”
Indeed, the blogosphere and the Internet at large have been vicious to Rob, fat-shaming him ad nauseam. In May, he addressed the “haters” in a series of tweets that have since been deleted, writing, “I’m aware that I’m fat that def aint a surprise to me lol and my only therapy will be in the gym anyways had to say somethingggggggggg.” He called out his “haters” again just last month on Instagram, though the only photo that remains on his account is that bloody Gone Girl image directed at Kim.
“We all kind of get to a place where you don’t know where to go in life or whatever, so I think it’s important for him to know that he always has people to lean on and it’s not unnatural for people to not know even where to begin,” Khloe told Wonderwall. “It’s a growing process... I will always be his No. 1 supporter.”
