Conservative talk-radio host Laura Ingraham confirmed Tuesday that she is mulling a run for U.S. Senate in Virginia, challenging Democratic senator and vice-presidential nominee Tim Kaine. “I’m considering it,” the firebrand host confirmed to Fox & Friends. “I think it’s always good to mix things up, and I’ve been in Washington for a long time, and I have great respect for the Congress and institutions of government,” she explained. “I’ve had a great privilege to serve the country in the Judicial Branch, as a law clerk; at the Executive Branch for President Reagan. And it might be something I’m interested in.” The prominent Trump booster, previously rumored to become the president-elect’s press secretary, indicated that “a number of folks in Virginia, who are well connected, are very interested in my running, and it’s very flattering.”
